I know everyone is pretty mad about prop 19, but what about 203 in AZ or measure 13 in SD?

While I understand that everybody was really excited to be able to smoke legally for fun, keep in mind that lots of people in AZ and SD just lost all hope of being able to smoke as a way of considerably bettering their quality of life by mitigating the affects of serious illnesses. Thing is, at least in AZ, which is where I live, prop 203 would have only provided cannabis to people with life ending diseases like cancer or HIV. It wouldn't be the sort of situation that CA has at all (which is what the ads said).

It just really saddens me that people could care so little for their fellow human beings that they would actually vote to prevent them from getting medicine. What the hell, guys? Honestly, this doesn't even make me angry, it makes me really, really sad...I've been sortof "down" about it all day :(...I just cannot believe that people would do that.

Think about this if it were a movie: you've got a group of sick people, and then you've got another group of people telling them that, yes, they have a medicine that is going to help them, but the sick group can't have it because...well...just because the healthy group doesn't think they deserve it.

Watching stuff like this makes me really want to cry. People are telling this guy that he isn't allowed to feel better. God damn it.
