Anyone here have any luck getting a job through a staffing agency?

I am currently looking for a job in finance, and was wondering if anyone had any experiences finding a job through a staffing agency that they could share. Looking through my options, it seems like some of these places are not that reputable, and I just want to sift through the dog shit a little. Thanks in advance!
