Minecraft keeps black screen crashing? A Possible solution.

I suspected it was Microsoft Security Essentials so created an exception.

Open MS Sec Essentials

Goto Settings Tab, and select Excluded files and locations.

Click add, navigate to the file 'javaw.exe' in \Program Files\Java\jre6\bin

(64bit users \Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\bin)

Been playing for an hour and no crashing. Before the game would hang after around ten minutes.
