Should voting in america be a two day event?

Just a thought I had, figured I'd throw it out there..

If there's voting for two days, on the first day on closing they can tally up the runnings so far and give general info as to current standings and turnout. So, if there was only 10% turnout, people can rally and be like "c'mon!" which, I think might help voter turnout. It gives people a taste of things to come, which I think would help sway some to go try and change ship. Perhaps base it on turnout, if it's below a certain % offer another day. The logic being, "if you don't vote, this IS how it'll be.

It would be like halftime, where the coach sits us down and tells us we can do better.

Some people are just really lazy and don't think their vote counts. But if they feel their vote has more power, or that they could change the course of what might be, perhaps they'll feel more inclined to.
