Favorite Ubuntu features?

I just downloaded Ubuntu on a whim because I was getting sick of Windows and realized that my problem could be easily remedied. What are some cool things a new user should know about? I'm looking forward to familiarizing myself with the system, which is about 94% installed as I type this.

Exciting!
