Help! I have 4 weeks to give away $1000 of free dental treatment but can't find a patient!!
Reddit, I'm desperate!
I'm a registered dental hygienist who has recently moved to Georgia from California. Even though I'm already a licensed professional, dental licenses are state specific so I need to take a clinical exam here to be able to legally practice.
The exam would consist of me cleaning your teeth, then an examiner checking my work afterward- Easy! The problem is, because I am a stranger, I am having so much trouble finding anyone to be my patient for this exam. They need to be between 16 and 40 years old, and cannot have had a professional dental cleaning for at least 3 years. The mouth has to have certain attributes in order to be a patient so I am doing free dental screenings to check people to see if they qualify.
I have run out of people to screen that have responded to Craigslist and flyers, and the free clinics are way too busy. Offices I have contacted will not respond.
As a token of my desperate gratitude, I am offering $1000 of free dental treatment in addition to paying cash compensation on the day of the exam. I know people don't like the dentist or other dental related things, but the thousands of dollars paid for this exam is non-refundable if I can't find someone in time and the rest of my career here is at stake! I need to find someone by December 3rd! Please!
Any suggestions?
