American Redditors, if your country sucks so much and you just whine about it constantly, why don't you just leave?

Serious question here. I'm from Canada, it's pretty great up here, living here is pretty cheap (even in Toronto, which apparently was voted an expensive city to live in), healthcare, we have a smaller population than California and we're a pretty big deal.

So why not move on up? From the sounds of it most of you hate your lives, hate your 9-to-5s, your country is run by Fox News (not saying Canada is pure, calm down patriots) and every night Reddit is an American complain-o-fest (it makes for interesting comments at least).

I mean shit, make all the Canada jokes you want, but fuck if you're going to complain about the US so much, just fucking leave. I realize there's an initial cost to just uprooting and leaving but if you have an education it's not too hard.

EDIT 1: Sorry, should've thought about the families, I know it's hard to uproot a family (my family did the same thing to come to Canada, lost everything. It sucked.). I guess this would be a better question to the hipsters, singles and the forever alone crowds. Or even young couples.
