I'm a little lost here.

So I have a great friend. She has an amazing personality, we share nearly identical tastes in music, and overall, can be described as a "premium" person to be with.

I'm starting to really like her, enough to want to start a relationship with her, but there's a problem. She's a lesbian.

whenever I ask her about her sexual preferences, she'll say she's "on the fence" or "undecided", and the way she says it is convincing. However, she was sexually abused by another girl when she was 9. She has quite a history with anti-depressants and other assorted medication, and has also been to a rehabilitation facility. I understand how traumatic events occurring during childhood can "flip a switch" inside you and (pretty much) permanently alter your sexuality.

So the issue is, she's sending me all of the signals of being into me, you know, like the poking, flirting, and whatnot, which I notice she does with no other guy. I want to be in a relationship with her, but i have no clue if she really feels the same way about me.

Suggestions? :P
