Today, for the first time, I considered the existence of an afterlife outside the context of organized religion.

I had always linked the concept of an "afterlife" with some form of organized religion. Perhaps there is indeed an afterlife, but it has absolutely nothing to do with any god or diety? It simply is... another life.

Forgive me if this this is n00bspeak in r/atheism, but it blew my mind today and I had to share.
