If you could be the first person on Mars but there was no possibility of return, would you go?
I'm sure this has been asked before, but, if you were given the opportunity to be the first person to go to mars, but you wouldn't be able to return to Earth, would you go?
Let's say that hypothetically you would be able to survive for 1 month once there, during which you would collect invaluable scientific data. You also have a suicide pill, so you can choose when to end your life and don't prolong any suffering.
