Food Delivery Drivers of Reddit: Tip in quarters? Your thoughts.

We just ordered a pizza using a credit card on the phone, and I forgot to have them add tip to the total. We have $3 in ones, but we'd really like to give him/ her at least $5 for their troubles (we live in a condo complex and it can be a bit confusing). How would you feel if you got $3 in ones and 8 quarters? More or less insulted than just receiving $3?
