What does the average guy really think about having sex with average-looking women?

Satisfy my curiosity, please. I'm a nice woman with a relatively pretty face and a chunky, pear-shaped body. Nothing really ugly and I'm not HUGE (although I've seen women twice my size who were better proportioned and looked voluptuous). I'm just, you know, average or slightly below. If I had big breasts maybe I'd look voluptuous too, but, nope.

So, those of you who are attracted to women: Is anyone ever actually attracted to women who look like me? Or is it a case of "She's nice and nothing better has come along"?

(I'm not depressed, in spite of the tone of this post. Someone unexpectedly asked me out today and my first thought was "WTF is wrong with this dude's eyes?", so I've been pondering.)
