DAE feel haunted by the awareness of their own biology?

More and more frequently I become way too conscious of the fact that I'm basically one giant cell with one purpose, to reproduce. Sometimes it's when I'm eating or using the bathroom and most recently when having sex, I almost had to stop because I couldn't stop thinking about my own biology and existence in the universe that I became almost completely disconnected from the act itself.
