DAE ever feel like someone is going to bust through their window and strangle them?

I hate having a window in my room, and living on the first floor of an apartment complex. I can't sit at my computer desk at night because I have extreme feelings that someone is out there ready to get me. If I hear a noise out there I won't sleep for hours. Which is why I am here now, stupid noises!!
