What do you do with your old makeup compacts?

I'm facing a bit of a dilemma. I have a bunch of old compacts piling up and have no idea what to do with them. I hate to just throw them away, but since they have plastic, metal, and glass, I'm not sure how to go about recycling them. What do you guys do?

Edit: A few of you have said for me to send them to you so you can use them. I'm sure some of you are joking, but if you're not, feel free to PM me your address and I'd be happy to mail them. They're mostly CoverGirl and Maybelline powder compacts.
