TIL: Clothes To Kids

Hey Reddit! Let me just say that all the effort towards DonorsChoose was AWESOME. I was kind of blown away by how generous an online community can be.

Does anyone out there have an insatiable desire to do MOAR GOOD DEEDS?

TIL about a charity in Clearwater, Florida, called Clothes To Kids. From what I've learned, they provide clothing to needy schoolchildren in the area. The service they provide is a good one and is greatly appreciated by those who use it.

The problem is, they've become a bit too successful for their own good. They've recently opened a new branch in St. Petersburg, Florida, and the demand there is greater than they can currently provide for.

Now, I'm not asking that every Redditor hop right on over to make a donation. I'm not trying to take advantage of Reddit's generosity to support "my" charity (I am not affiliated with Clothes To Kids in any way, nor had I even heard of it before today). All I ask is that if this sounds to you like a charity worth helping, please consider doing something. I'm sure that any donation at all (or even just spreading the word) would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
