Last week I interviewed for a associate position with a hiring consultant agency.

Can anyone give me some advice on this job, and industry? To be more specific it was an associate position for a hiring agency. Basically i would be finding jobs for people working in finance, and be getting a percentage from the first year of their salary. After an initial training period I would develop a client list etc. Please, if anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
