Best movie of 2009? A retrospect.

I originally was going to make a best of 2010 post but I really haven't seen too many films.

My question is what does reddit think the best movie of last year is?

My personal favorite is (500) Days of Summer which later surprised me that it didn't get an academy award nomination (since they added 10 nominee spaces)

Movies like The Hurt Locker Avatar and District 9 seemed to get a lot of acclaim and attention. I thought they were okay.

Enough rambling. What do you guys think?
