Feeling stupid enough to try and get back with an ex..should I?

As the title says..one of my ex girlfriends has been stuck on my mind the last few days. I haven't seen her since early July when she dumped me citing depression/pressure of a relationship.

It wasn't the best of breakups, we did continue to speak for a while afterwards but the last time we did I was quite rude and haven't heard anything from her in two months.

An hour ago she returned from a month overseas and I'm really tempted to contact her.

Should I bother? What should I say? I really don't know if this is a good idea..

EDIT: I've sent a message on facebook. Will update if anything worthy of an update happens. UPDATE: She replied and we chatted for an hour or so last night. Got her number again after I lost it months ago and I mentioned we should catch up/hang out. She is keen.
