r/trees, I'm disappoint.

r/trees was once the friendliest and most peaceful place on all the interwebz that are wide and worldly.

Then along came Prop 19, and the hate, judgments, redditor bashing and downvoting started. The slightest mention of being anti-19 was immediately downvoted, ridiculed, and totally fucking bashed.

People are entitled to their opinions. And standard reddiquette says you don't downvote someone just because you disagree. And on the subject of voting, well, obviously they are entitled to vote how they see fit. Both are their rights as humans and US citizens as far as I'm concerned.

I have seriously considered unsubscribing to the subreddit because of this, after more than a year of Enthood, but I've resisted.

I can only hope that the gigantic wave of rhetoric will soon subside and that we can get back to being the friendliest and most peaceful place on the internet.
