Why does Topaz, Hitchcock's 1969 Cold War drama, get no love?
Just saw this movie from a DVD I came across in the library, I thought it was terrific. Not a masterpiece like Vertigo or North by Northwest, but very engaging and filled with interesting scenes, and a couple mind-blowing shots, especially [spoiler](/s"Juanita de Cordoba's death"). The acting was solid too, I particularly liked the actor who played Rico Parra.
So, why doesn't anyone ever talk about this movie? It's better than some other Hitchcock movies I've seen, like The Wrong Man.
