IAmA CA resident who voted no on Prop 19.

I am a 37 year old white male. I moved to California when I was 16, but started visiting at age 9. I first tried marijuana at 12, I became a daily smoker at 16 (which coincidentally is when I moved to CA, hmmmm.) Minus the occasional shortage of weed, or tolerance breaks, I have been a daily stoner for 21 years. I have always been in full support of legalization, I think marijuana laws are absurd, even here in CA where I think we have it easy.

I am in no way part of the industry. I am in no way a CA MMJ patient. I have grown weed, and I have sold it here and there, but for 99% of my time as a stoner, I've been a consumer only.

Yesterday I voted no on Prop 19. There was a way in which I thought it was heartbreaking, but I also felt like I was doing the right thing for CA.

Anyway, this was requested, so here it is. I have a few hours til I need to go to bed, so I'll do my best.

EDIT: Bed time for Bonzo. Thanx for not bashing me too hard Reddit. At least I voted. At least I spent time reading the thing and researching it. Forming my own opinion and voting accordingly. This was requested, hope that redditor's happy. By the way, if anyone knows Richard Lee, I have an AMA request for him.
