Y'all should take a knee cause its STORY-TIME.

So I just moved to a new town that’s out of state for my senior year of high school. I now live in a town that has the most bible humpers I have ever had to deal with.

I don’t really know what I believe in. I think that there could be a “god” but all the facts that have been presented lead me to believe that there probably is not. So we’ll say I’m an Atheist. Somehow in school today we got on the conversation of biology and this girl says “I hated biology. School shouldn’t be teaching lies.” This caught my interest right. So I asked “Wait. You think biology is a lie?” She then proceeds to explain that biology is wrong because evolution is a lie. Now I’m not a militant atheist; I think that everyone is entitled to their opinion. So I don’t go around trying to prove peoples beliefs wrong, but I will explain why I believe in my beliefs. So I go on my little speech saying “Well the bible contradicts itself, science has logical proof to its hypothesis and the bible does not, therefore I am a non-believer and I believe in evolution.” Suddenly 2/3 of the class is riding my ass about how I’m endanger of going to hell. So I go a little deeper in my explanations trying to show them my logic saying “Every religion says there bible is right and others are wrong because of the language there written in, but tell me what language do you laugh in?” and “No I don’t see homosexuality as a sin. How can an all loving entity hate someone for the way that they love? “ After that comment even teacher joined in on bending me over and raping me for my beliefs, that’s how my first period went and my day just got better.

After school the was a Invisible Children film showing for extra credit. You probably know of the atrocities committed in Uganda during the past 25 years; they’re pretty bad to say the least. The film did a great job of delving into the problems there and showing that are support is needed to promote education so something like their current problem does not happen again. A particularly moving portion of the film is when a young woman stops taking her HIV medications because she wants to die. She is tired of the amount of suffering her and her people have to put up with on a daily basis. After that scene a lot of people in the audience were crying.

Now the films over and its question time. What do you think the first questions is? Maybe the appropriate response of “How can I help.” No. Its “So is any of the money that we donate used to help show these people the way of Jesus Christ?” I don’t know why but that REALLY pissed me off. Does the person who asked this question really think during this suffering and hardship they did not wonder “God why do you do this? God why do you take 30,000 innocent children and have them kill one another? GOD WHY DO YOU NOT HELP US?” Luckily I kept my mouth shut but shit man, that made me want to shove my beliefs down there throat as they’ve done to me for the past 17 years.
