Is anyone else writing a certain best-seller?
I'm talking about primo, grade A shit here. I'm talking about the elusive Great American Novel. I'm not editing, not because I don't have time but because words this good don't themselves have the time for editing - they're too busy being the best damn words put to paper.
I'm already laughing just imagining the face on Laura Miller when she reads my novel. I'm already writing cover letters and lining up in my head which publishers I'd like to work with. Hell, I'm already counting Japanese-translation royalties in a separate Google Docs spreadsheet.
(While I'm on the subject - who else is using Google Docs to compose their novel? Anyone? You really should try out this fantastic dark room theme.)
So, is this going extremely kick-ass for anyone else? Or am I alone here?
