Is Shane on his way to becoming another huge YouTuber who everyone thinks of as a joke?

Earlier this year everyone was saying how Shane was slaying YouTube for so long and he was def killing the game.... although it seems that everyone has turned on him now for the disappointing series and he is turning into another disingenuous huge YouTuber :/
