Mouse stutter when usb hub is connected

I've noticed my mouse cursor stutters every 5/10 seconds when my Satechi usb c adaptor is connected to my MB pro 2019 13 inch. Any idea why and if it is possible to fix? gets quite annoying.

Also, I don't need to have anything connected to the hub. just simply plugging it in the MacBook causes it.
