Can't find contact birthdays in Calendar?

I recently got a MacBook Air 2017 and I set up my iCloud account. Everything works fine including iMessage, Photos etc. but when I open Calendar, it doesn't sync the birthdays of my contacts with it. Any idea why this happens?
