[REQUEST] ISO voice typing app that will record while in another app (e.g., read passage from MoonReader and press tile/shortcut to activate recording)--is there one?
I read a lot of e-books and take notes. I have been selecting text and sending it automatically to my clipboard and then organizing it afterwards, but a much easier way to do this would be if I could just read out loud what I wanted my notes, have it in a text file, and then dump it into Evernote or wherever.
I've tried a few apps, and have yet to find one that works. GravityBox has a tile for voice record which is great, but it just makes a voice recording, not a text file. Speechnotes doesn't even appear to have a widget, which is sad; the closest I've found is Voice Notebook (which, excerpts for its aesthetics, is a really well designed app). It does have a widget, and I was able to make a tile, but when there is another app open (in this case, MoonReader), the microphone goes into pause mode.
Does anyone know of an app designed to do what I'd like done, or a workaround? I know a while ago there was an app where you could make floating shortcuts, but my assumption is that if it's not working as a tile shortcut, it's not going to work as a floating shortcut either.
Thx!
