2nd outbreak questions

Last February I had my first experience with herpes on my shoulder. Weird I know, and its the HSV2 strand. We did blood test and took a sample from the blisters. I have it no where else on my body, its just there.

I can feel the tiny blisters and see little bumps where it was before, and it kind of tingles and itches. I actually have a cold right now and its finals week so I guess my immune system is a wreck.

Is there anything I can do now to shorten my suffering? Last time I was on antivirals and I had a fever for 3 days I felt like I had the flu for days. Do people take antivirals every day or just during an outbreak? What can I take to lessen my suffering? Am I gonna have an outbreak every time I get sick?

Ugh I don't want this to happen all over again I have 2 exams this week and I work around kids. I'm freaking out.
