Preaching Advice

Hey guys! This may not be the right thread/forum, but I’m reformed and I go to a reformed church, so I figured I could at least start here!

I’m a 23 year old who has been given the opportunity to preach a few times at my church, which has been an absolute blessing! I really enjoy preaching although the prep can sometimes be stressful. 😄

Anyways, I’d love any preaching advice you might have, and any of your favorite resources when it comes preaching.

Also, I’m preaching from Acts 11:19-30 (on March 1st 2020), which at first glance is definitely a more challenging text to preach from compared to the texts I’ve preached from in the past. If you’ve ever listened to any good messages on that text, have any good resources for it, or have some tips yourself, I would greatly appreciate it!

I’m placing this here instead of some r/preaching or r/sermons thread because Biblical theology and sound Biblical teachers are important to me and this is definitely a better resource when it comes to that!
