Blatant Lying

This isn’t the worst part of my nmom’s behavior, but for some reason it pisses me off the most. I can’t deal with the way she blatantly lies! Yesterday we saw a movie as a family and the whole ride home she was going on about how she saw the ending coming and she knew what was happening all along. So untrue. My brother and I were talking about an actress we both like, and my mom butts in with something about how that actress is “always in roles like that” when my brother and I were commenting on how her part was breaking the mold for her. She pretends she knows everything, but it’s very easy to disprove if I ask her any clarifying questions. Of course, that makes her very confused and angry and suddenly it becomes an argument about why I don’t love her. At this point I think she doesn’t even know she’s lying and she’s convinced she truly does know everything ever. It makes me so angry that she can’t just accept not knowing ONE thing and having her children educate her. Does anyone else experience this?
