A random woman i've never seen in my life before is claiming to be my aunt and wants to live with us, AMA

So yesterday i woke up to my parents talking with an elderly woman i've never seen in my life, my mother then called me to my room and explained that this woman is my father's step-sister that has been in jail for 15years. This all seemed very fake to me because my father believed to be a single son all his life since he didn't have a father and his mother died shortly after this birth.

She then told us that she also had a brother that was killed by a police officer.

She offered us an appartment in the center of the town and a Land Rover jeep if we accept her in our family.
She is physically disabled (was beat in prison and can't walk) and has depression and PTSD. AMA.
