Question about music/character selection

So with the exception of the couples choice, does anyone know how the music selection works? Does the pro decide the song or is it the producers who say you're doing this song this week to this dance style?

Same question for things like movie week and musicals week, who is it deciding for example that Kelvin would be Gaston, is that Oti or higher ups?
