Twitch should have a "Community" area like Youtube does to help push updates

A few years ago, there used to be a feed, but that wasn't really browse-able. Most engagement would have come from the channel page itself.

Take Youtube's Community tab as an example, they list channel posts 4 rows below different types of recommendations on the HOME PAGE. They also push a notification.

This could be further improved by having a dedicated section for these updates, too.

The reach that one could develop with something like this would very likely trump external social media, at least on average.

What does everyone think? How could this be further improved on beyond what YT does?
