Ps vr controllers?

So for black Friday my dad picked up the ps vr bundle (the one with 5 built in games, everybody golf vr, skyrim vr, resident evil 7, ps vr worlds and astro bot) and if you don't know this bundle doesn't come with the move controllers. So we were having a chat if the controllers are actually necessary but we're not 100% sure so your help would be needed.

Also why don't the controllers come with it??

Seriously sony?
