Escort Ships for Hire

As a newer player myself, I have experienced the dangers and frustrations of enemy pirates and beasts of the seas first hand. Less often I've experienced some cordial interactions with other pirates that have been a lot of fun. So as an attempt to bring some more of these friendly experiences, I have been toying with the thought of offering my ship for hire as an escort to help ensure others sail smoothly to their destination. The alliance system works well for compensation, as I personally am fine with the 50% cut, which would coincidently be proportionate to the risk of the escorts. In return the other ship gets an extra barrier between them and bloodthirsty pirates and beasts. Since my ship wouldn't be carrying any loot, its perfectly safe for us to engage any threats to the client crew. Even in the event of our sinking we have bought time if nothing else and it ensures if we fail we don't recieve payment. I feel the most difficult part of this would be the initial approach to other crews and finding clientel on the servers. What are your all's thoughts on this?
