Aux In Connection

Does the Echo Studio have an Aux In connection to enable connecting a cell phone headphone out jack directly to the Studio? We have a flakey wifi system making consistent OTA music difficult. I noticed the reviews for the Studio mention "line-in/optical-in port", but aren't optical and regular aux connections totally different? Are there aux to optical cables?
