Not a AAA player, looking for a game to try out my gpu

I don't really play games for graphics, I just do some Brawlhalla, some platformers and a little strategy or management games. I recently got a laptop with a pretty good GPU, because it was a good deal and I might need it for development.

Still, I thought it would be nice to test it with a really demanding game.

The thing is that I'm not really a AAA videogame player, I don't own anything demanding but for Cities Skyline, and I really wanted to try something more graphically interesting.

The problem is that I'm not looking for a game to play a lot, so I'm not going to buy a game (unless it's very peculiar and under 20€), and was looking for something free. The only title I can think of would be "0 a.d.", which again isn't that immersive.

I asked some friends and they came up with two shooter games: Warframe and Defiance. While I might try Warframe, I'm not really a fan of shooters.

So, have you got any interesting free title I could try? Like, racing, or adventure? Even shooters, I might like some.

Or should I just put some shaders in Minecraft and call it a day?
