I'm starting a new podcast need help.

Me and my friend are starting a podcast based on Self-improvement, Business, and Financial Strategies. I need all the tips you guys can give me. We had decided to record our first episode today but we failed and now we're working on it so it's been postponed to Next Sunday. So please give me all the tips you can. Really would appreciate a minor one too.
