I feel I've (sort of) overcomed SA, but I don't know where to go or what to do now
Hello. I've suffered SA symptoms since 2012 or so. My symptoms worsened in high school, where I was the subject of bullying, until my SA was bad enough that I couldn't even buy something in a store without sweating and my hands getting shaky. However, when I entered college, and started to make friends, things started to change, slowly.
I got my first IRL girlfriend in 2017, and the relationship continued until this year. We broke up in March. Since then, I've been unsuccessfully trying to find love again. I've fallen in love with 3 other girls, but I've been rejected everytime. I've been kinda friendzoned as I'm writing this post. 2019 has been a shitty year, really. I have a degree, yet I can't find a use for it because I don't know how to promote myself and my work, socially speaking. It feels like the only way to get a job is to know people inside the industry. I haven't worked yet, and I'm 21.
I don't really feel SA the way I used to. Yeah, I feel socially anxious from time to time, but presentations, speaking up in class, and my daily life itself, have nowhere near the levels of anxiety I used to feel.
But I still feel like my life is socially not as successful as I'd like it to be, and I don't know where to go or what to do to change that. I've tried meeting up new people, I've made some new connections, or at least tried to, yet, it still feels like I'm far away from the amount of social success I'd like to have.
