Ghosting effect ruined my low-light shots, any idea what caused it?
I shot these low-light nighttime shots with my Lumix G7 and for some reason there's a ghost effect that destroyed my recordings. My guess is it's either the basic noise reduction algorithms (even with NR at -5) or the MP4 H.264 codec doing its thing. I'm puzzled, because I'd seen nighttime shots shot with the same camera and lens look great and not overly motion blur-y and ghost-y.
Settings: I used the 14-42 kit lens at 14mm with iso 6400, f3.5, 1/50. Color profile: cinelike-d modified to contrast at -5, sharpness at -5, noise reduction at -5, and saturation at -1.
Btw, when I see the image on the viewfinder, it looks good, but when I press record it becomes darker and noise reduction seems to be applied. Does it maybe default to a different profile?
