Documenting my Emerald Nuzlocke (..again)

As per my previous run, I was documenting my Emerald Nuzlocke adventures, but well, my game said "go screw yourself" and lost a major section of my progress.

So, I decided to restart. Here is the log of my second, hopefully much more successful, run.

As usual, some info:

• I'm a nub, so I do nub mistakes.
• I've actually never finished Emerald before, but I've finished Ruby/Emerald so.. Can't be that bad, right?
• This is my first Nuzlocke, so any advice is welcome!

PS: My current worry at the moment is training my Tanuki (Zigzagoon). I'm not expecting much out of him even when he becomes a Linoone, but do I need to waste my time in raising him? :[
