Is the UX534 that much better than the S532?

I'm having trouble making a decision here;

The UX534 has the 10th gen i5 processor (but no dedicated graphics), and is about $1200 CAD (like, 900 USD).

On the other hand the S532 has the 8th gen i5 processor, is marginally larger dimension wise, weighs half a pound more, and has a significantly worse screen, but aside from that the performance should be only about 10% worse. It however, is about $677 USD.

I want to keep it for 3 years, it's mainly for work but I'm a heavy multi-tasker (I'll have 30 tabs open with music and be running PowerBI, excel, outlook, and word at the same time) and I want to have a good screen for watching movies as well. But I don't know if I can justify the ~$230 USD price difference based on these specs. Does anyone have an opinion that can help sway me please?
