Genderfluid or Confused Schizophrenic?

I'm having trouble with my gender right now. I know being transgender isn't a mental illness, but I also know that in schizophrenia identity itself is fluid and always changing. This can be your religion, eating habits, ancestry, name, etc. because that mental illness has unstable identity and memory as one of its symptoms. I have made plenty of impulsive choices such as going vegetarian, cutting my hair, asking for different clothes, wanting to change my religion, all on whims. Now there are days when I want to change my gender and feel a different gender than my assigned gender. I don't know if being transgender for me is the right thing to consider, or if it's just another one of my false recalls of my identity.

Other important info: I have been questioning my gender since I was a child. This is nothing new, I'm just more aware of it now. I had both male and female friends growing up. I confused feelings of appreciating boys for crushes sometimes. I sometimes feel dysphoric about my chest, name, and agab pronouns, but not much else. I have tried wearing clothes of the opposite gender and that did make me happy when I did it.
