(M, 38. Got all my bones) Did any of you worry that you were tempting fate when you subscribed?

About me: I fell off a climbing frame when I was about 10 and I was in severe pain for a good 2 hours. Was absolutely convinced Id fractured a bone in my arm and was actually a little bit disappointed I hadn't broken my arm. I was given a sling for my arm which I really didn't need but I happily wore it anyway.

Fast forward 24 years. I am walking home just very mildly drunk. I am looking 90 degrees to the left and walk full speed into a lamp post. But here's the thing: the only part of me that connects with the lamppost is my nose. So imagine every part of me walks past the lamppost except my nose. It was an incredibly solid and powerful connection. I mean, if my nose was a tooth that needed removing and you were setting up the best way to naturally remove the tooth (nose), I just executed it perfectly. Anyway, absolutely no problem. I didn't even get a nose bleed but I have no idea how.

Okay, that was some background but what I really want to say is that I just found this place and my first thought was this is the sub for me. But while I was looking at the submissions I became increasingly fearful. Surely I would be jinxing myself by subscribing to this. In a weird way, this subreddit is a good way of finding the none superstitious people on reddit (with great bones). How often do you get people announcing they broke a bone and unsubscribing?
