I'm looking into getting a pair of Bluetooth headphones this year and the BeatsX really stood out because:

1. I've heard good things about the Beats brand
2. I'm already in the Apple ecosystem
3. The Wireless chip (W1 - the same one as AirPods) is a big selling point for me - but does it work with the 6s Plus?
4. They're getting cheaper (going for around £80 but it seems like you can get them cheaper)

But wherever I look (Reddit, YouTube, Google) there is always a mix of positive and negative reviews.

I'm going to link the sources I have looked at and sort the positive, negative and neutral:

Generally Positive:

• Review by Jordan Keyes on Youtube - This review is generally positive (good, balanced sound, good connectivity, etc. and so are 90% of the comments.
• Review by CNET on YouTube - Good sound, isolation, quality, range, controls, connectivity, battery, charging. I don't think they said anything bad! The comments are also very positive.
• One year later pros and cons by Eddie Moon on YouTube - Good comfortable neck design, convenient, amazing battery, Fast Fuel Charging with Lightning. He said they have lasted him but a lot of people in the comments said they have had multiple broken pairs.
• Review by UrAvgConsumer on YouTube
• "BeatsX are better than AirPods in almost every way." by Cult of Mac on YouTube
• "Best Beats Ever?" by Marques Brownlee on YouTube
• TechRadar review - found on a Google search for "beatsx"

and a few more scattered on Reddit and Google (just search for them!)

• WhatHifi review - found on a Google search for "beatsx"
• Amazon reviews. Some good, some saying theirs broke quickly.

• Negative Amazon review - Can be found here
• Most of all: just searching for "BeatsX" on this subreddit comes up with a lot of people with broken pairs.

People who have used the BeatsX, own them or have owned them: what is your view, are they good? Worth the money? Have they broken? If not, what is a better option? (with the W1 chip?) Thanks!
