AITA For getting a little fustrated after 5 failed attemps at an ASSessment?

Everyone Sucks

I'm a student studying a Cyber course, but as part of the course, we have a Work Health and Safety portion that's mandated by the government. The WHS-OHS work isn't that difficult, just lengthy, riddled with poorly written questions or just irrelevant. The person marking this is a business teacher, not a cyber one. She only looks after this particlar segment of my overall course. She doesn't have any 'real' classes with us and I've only seen her about three times total irl.

Well I've completed all the work, sent them in for marking. I went into this expecting some to come back on the first go, but this story is about one particular assignment. With the initial submission, it came back with 3 things marked as incorrect and needed resubmission.I correct them and send it back.

When I got it back, 2 mistakes remained.

I correct them, sent it in again.

This time, when I get it back, the marks have disappeared.

Then I look at the grade. Still not pass. Huh? (Our grades are marked on pass or fail merit, no such thing as 99%. We fail the course if we truly fail an assessment, this is one of those)

At this point I just assumed that the same two are still wrong. No feedback, no questions marked as wrong. I just had to guess what was wrong. I improved the wording a bit, and for good measure, added a screenshot of the clause from the link she gave me.

Nope. Came back. At this point, my fustration was pretty clear. I decided to compare answers with a bunch of mates on the class discord. Our answers weren't that different. I based my answer on one that had already passed.

It came back, rejected as usual.

I asked the teacher for further clarification on what was wrong. In this, I made my first slip up. I said "I literally took (the answer)" from someone who passed when in reality I just based my new answer off someone else's, so "literally" was not true. *(I'm a teen, we say it a lot)*Then came my second 'mistake.' I said "This is getting ridiculous." But I really did mean it at the time. Four rejections, and with guidance from a passed answer.

She then asked from whom I copied my answer from. I didn't. But I wasn't about to snitch. Instead, I pressed her to specify what I did wrong, followed by a snarky comment but not untrue.

Then I attempted an experiment. I copy-pasted another 'passed' answer. At this point I didn't care if I was cheating or not. I just wanted to see what would happen if I submitted an answer that was 100% not mine, but also 100% worded correctly. Now I realise I probably shouldn't have revealed I "literally (but not)" took my answer from someone else until I did this experiment.

Then today when I checked my inbox, I received an email titled "Inappropriate Feedback Warning" from one of my main teachers for my cyber course.

And my assessment? Still 0/1. Fun.

I acknowledge that I may have been a little harsh, but how much of a butthole was I really?
