Facebook not playing gifs in comments and stuck on 'updating feature for facebook'

I have Mi9t pro, after installing and updating everything facebook decided it should not play gifs in comments. Everytime i open facebook i get notification saying updating feature for facebook but if i click on the notification there js nothing to be updated. I resolved this by clicking uninstall updates for google play store and than reinstalling. Gifs are not playing in comments only on posts. Any idea?
