G Hub won't detect Squad as a game, mouse profile won't apply
So I got a G604, which I was super excited about because I've loved my G602 for years, and Logitech Gaming Software has never failed me. When I found out that the G604 only works with G Hub, my excitement fell a bit because of the amount of problems I've heard about on this sub. The software has worked fine for me up until now, but this is the first speed bump I've hit with it and it's quite discouraging.
I noticed actions weren't being carried out in game after I had spent time setting up a profile for the game Squad. I dug around a bit and noticed that the .exe I set as the program for the profile to detect as the game wasn't actually the .exe that is open when the game is running. Used Task Manager to figure out what the proper .exe was, went into G Hub, started a new profile, located the correct program as the new .exe to use as the game for the profile, and the program just flat out doesn't acknowledge that I've selected it. I click on the .exe in the file explorer window, click Open to add the game to the profile, and absolutely nothing happens in the G Hub interface. It acts like I didn't click on anything.
Does anyone else have experience with this? Either with Squad or with other games? Does anyone have any advice on how to get around this? I already tried adding a "custom path" to the profile I had initially set up, pointing the program to the correct .exe, and that new path does show up in G Hub, but the profile still isn't applied. It just defaults to my default desktop profile whenever I'm in the game.
