Armoury Crate has lost control of ASUS Motherboard
Apologies, this is 2nd post of the same thing, but I can’t find the first. My DRAM & Motherboard RGB was out of synchronisation so I thought I’d reinstall all software. Followed the ASUS instructions on uninstalling armoury crate. Reinstalled using their download for my motherboard.
No controls. DRAM & Motherboard are now in sync though. Just I have no control other than on/off in Bios. Assume there is some small thing I failed to uninstall or a security interaction with Windows 10 is blocking the connection. Tried Revo Uninstaller to thoroughly delete all traces of Armoury crate, the service and the ROG thing (and the CCleaner to double check). Still doesn’t work.
Anyone have any idea what I’m missing? I really don’t want to have to reinstall Windows and my applications again. Bet it is something tiny and stupid in the settings. I’ve turned off windows fast boot already. Tried turning off Armoury crate in bios and on again. Nada.
The instructions on the ASUS website for the TUF Gaming X570 plus don’t work. They really should. There is clearly a **** up in their programming.
